Colorado State University

We at the Energy Institute believe that technology achieves the most positive impact when it is applied through real-world markets. Tech-to-Market (T2M) at the Energy Institute is an innovative program specifically designed to streamline the path for CSU-based energy research into the commercial sector.

The T2M Program works closely with entrepreneurial faculty to establish the maturity and overall value proposition of their energy-related solution and construct a roadmap toward commercialization. We utilize a rigorous methodology to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. This approach is the result of several decades worth of combined experience by our team starting technology companies from academic and corporate environments.

The T2M program combines best practices in opportunity assessment and entrepreneurial education with highly skilled EI staff support. Staff support includes but is not limited to: techno-economic analysis (TEA), design services, business plan development, prototype fabrication and testing support, and fundraising support.
